Biography
I am a bassist, composer and arranger. I started my career in 2003, playing with funk, blues, jazz, latin groups and with many artists at concerts, record productions, theatrical performances and clinics. Since 2010 I’m a member and founder of the UADG project with Luca Burocchi. In 2019 I released my first solo album, NECRONOMICON, inspired by the literary work of H. P. Lovecraft, with the collaboration of Carlo Cantini, Emanuele Pellegrini and Claudio De Angelis. In 2022 I produced I CHING, a concept album based on the ancient Chinese divination text, with the Dodicilune Records label.
My approach consists in deepening the primordial characteristics of music and its evolutions, through the study of ancient and modern musical forms from different parts of the world. I try to bring out the possible connections between tangible facts, potential, perspectives of transformation and collective perception. My projects are about the relationships between sound and man, to give music the possibility to become the sincere introspective and expressive means with which we obtain a personal and cultural clarification.
